How Can I Copy DVD+-R to DVD+-R on my PC with Error Message

Hello Fellow Video Fans: I have a couple of problems with copying DVDr to DVDr.... The main one is that at least half of the discs that I buy over the internet I have at least some trouble trying to copy them using my Optowrite DVD burner and NERO SMART SUITE 6.... Some copy just fine no problems, but other discs cause me a great deal of grief.. I get so far along in the burn process and NERO comes back with an error message that the disc has errors in it. If the disc plays just fine in my DVD player why can't I simply make a 'mirror image' of it. It seeems perfectly logical. I heard of software called ISOBUSTER at http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/ which I was wondering if it might help. I don't even know what an ISO is defined as??? Most of the discs I create on my DVD recorders seem to be able to be copied. Also I have one more problem. On my EMERSON FUNAI DVD recorder, the discs that are made can't seem to be copied. Only the Menu screen gets copied. NERO says that it can't create an image of the rest of the disc. Why??? It makes no sense to me. Why can't the burning software just copy what is there. I tried different software as well. They all work the same, they always try to find errors. I just want a 'mirror-image'...I don't need for the software to look for imaginary problems with discs that play just fine on my DVD player. I am Donald Miller - Charleston South Carolina..
