  1. I was intending to backup a HK anime DVD9 to 2 DVD-Rs. I realize that the DVD has messed up VOB-IDs. All my other DVDs has increasing consecutive VOB-IDs such as 1,2,3,4,5,6........46. This one (uses VOB-IDs: 1,2,3,4,5,6,2,7,4,5,8,2,9,4,5,10,11,4,12,2,13,4,5, 14,2,15,4,5,16,2,4,5,17,18,4) according to Ifoedit. How do I solve this problem and is there a guide?

I don't really know how to do what you want to do (and I think it's a bit complicated since you'd have to change a bunch of values everywhere) but I'm wondering why you want/need to do that?
Do you have any problem with the non consecutive VOB-IDs? I know that the subject was mentioned in connection with PgcEdit (which had problems loading such DVDs at first), but I haven't read anywhere that this is illegal...
    Is it?

  3. For an example, the VOB-IB for chapter 8 is the same for chapter 3, so if I'm currently at chapter 7 and I press NEXT, it'll go to chapter 3 instead of chapter 8.

  4. load up your files into PgcEdit and do a PGC info dump. We need more information from you.

Basically, click on your Title in question in PGC Selection list and go up to INFO > PGC. Paste your info in your next post.

  8. I was able to change the VOB ID up to 18 only. It fixes the first 19 chapters but messes up the playback time. PgcEdit won't let me assign a VOB ID pass 18 and Cell ID can't be changed either. This is what it looks like now.

Well, do you know exactly what's in your VOB files? Do you know that you have anything beyond VOBID18?
If you can't find your way out, post here , r0lZ, the author of PgcEdit might be able to help you with that...
