  1. Please, a friend of mine ripped a dvd, with DVD Decrypter, and then, recorded onto a
dvd-r, the ripped material(it was too big, so, he splitted onto 2 dvd's-r), but(sorry if it was the wrong place to post such thing), when i import these files(the video files, the audio files are all ok) with the program Maestro(to author the dvd), i receive the messages:

"Temporal references in GOP#2991(Zero-based) are out of sequence(0XC10b000A)
"Temporal references in a GOP are out of sequence"(0XC1070034)

He screw up, using a bad dvd-r media, and damage the ripped material? Or, he used DVD Decrypter in a worng way? Can i fix this video files?
I've tried use the program ReStream(marking the options "Remove Seq. End Codes & Reset Timestamps), but nothing changed, Maestro still show the same messages.

    Thank you so much!

Are you appending the two files or importing them separately? Is it the 2nd part file that crashes? Does it crash as soon as you import it (like at 0 or 1%)?

If the latter, you need to rewrite the GOP timecode because it's out of whack (i.e., instead of starting from 0:00:00:00 it's 1frame greater than the last frame of the first file, and that makes maestro, which expects to have a file starting at 0, crash). You can use either one of the womble softwares (mpeg wizard or mpeg-vcr) or dvd-lab pro (dvd-lab has that feature but it hasn't been consistent the times I've tried it).
Sorry, I had to go see about a girl

Hi! Thanks for replying! Well, Maestro start to load the video, and when it reaches 70-80%, it pop's up that two messages(one, right after the another) and then it stops. I importing both video and audio at the same time. Audio load 100% ok, only video has that problem. Thanks for the tip, i'll try to fix it, using MPEG-VCR.
    Thanks a lot!

    Anytime!

I've had that happen to me too and only womble was able to cure that. To be on the safe side, either create a copy of your file or run the test before rewriting the GOP timecode, because it's not a reversible process.
