Have any of you even made your lists yet? I sure as hell haven't. I hate shopping. I hate traffic. I hate crowds. I hate driving through holiday traffic, to go shopping in crowded malls. I love Christmas, though.
As of tonight, I don't know what I'm getting the wife, my brother and his family, or my parents. My father and sister in law are probably my two hardest to shop for people. They both don't really like anything or have any hobbies. At least I can get away with socks and some snacks for dad, but my sister in law is just hard to shop for.

I have almost completed my Christmas shopping. Just need one more thing and it's done with.
My Christmas shopping was powered by. No better way to do it, in my opinion. No travel, no crowds, no heavy bags - just me, my PC, my music and a cold drink.

Haven't started yet and I'm already over Christmas shopping. Been over it since October when it started at my work.

Are women ever REALLY done shopping?
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
I've finished shopping, and wrapped it all up at a nice slow pace tonight. I don't need to worry about Christmas now - I'm all prepared.
My credit card wasn't as prepared, however... -
I don't have any money this year to buy a bunch of presents.
Instead this year, I'm backing up some peoples DVDs for them -
I figured out what I'm going to give a majority of the people on my list. Mrtristan's Christmas Roast Coffee. A friend of mine lent me his semi-industrial coffee roaster. So far, it's been sitting at my shop for over a year, collecting dust. I have enough beans. Now all I have to do is dig it out, spend a few hours roasting and create some kind of nifty label for my ziploc bags.

We all knew it was a joke either way, even if I didn't quite grasp the details.

All I have to do is buy for the wife thank goodness, I hate shopping at the best of times and Christmas is a nightmare. Get as much as I can online, but some small stuff (diary, Calendar etc) I have to venture out for. Got it all this weekend, so its over for another year -
Don't you find that there is always one person who is really hard to buy something for? I hate getting CDs or DVDs - kind of impersonal/no thought required.

My dad actually likes socks. He's a pretty simple guy, that's why he's so hard to shop for. He doesn't want anything. He just bought some new tools, (thank goodness he doesn't have to "borrow" mine anymore), which are the only things he could really use. Once in a while he'll want something and I'll get him that, but other than that, I usually go with the default socks and assortment of snacks.
They're good socks, I tell you. High quality stuff that lasts until next Christmas.
