Audio is recognized in Mainstream not TMPGEnc???

I have an AVI file that I just created from a MiniDV capture (I selected RAW type 1 when I captured through Mainconcept)

When I pull up this file to be converted to MPG in TMPGEnc the file hangs everytime.

When I pull it up in Gspot it sees no audio. I am really confused by this. The file plays fine and has audio in Media Player.

Well unfortunately the same result...

I launch the last step in TMPGEnc and the conversion is supposed to take place. All I see is a still frame and then within a minute the entire program goes white except for the title. I could see by the processor usage that TMPGEnc was using 0% of the processor. I am ending task....

Any other ideas???

Just an FYI on this troublesome issue:

I have been banging my head for a while. I was able to use Procoder and crop the first 2 minutes out of this AVI and then I was able to convert.
