Just got back from Wally World--
    They have these 2 DVDR's a Sony
    SLV D350P & ILO DVDR-04 The Sony
is $148.00 and the ILO is $150.
I do not have a computer. Ijust
want to be able to transfer my
VHS tapes to DVD's without losing to much quality, which
    one do you recommend?
    My system is Directv/wtivo,
    Hughes box, Sony Wega TV.
    Thank you very much, Sam
    PS. I'm dumping the Mustek--

The Sony SLV D350P is a player not a recorder.

My mistake, I thought they both where DVDR's
Anyway is the ILO ok for my needs? Is it better than the Mustek?
    Thanks, Sam

Walmart has PIONEER and SANYO recorders.
Get one of those if you want to shop there only.

    Moved to DVD RECORDER forum.

If you want to spend more get a Pioneer but for a budget recorder the ILO is a good unit. The interface is nice and record quality is fine for VHS transfers.
