    well, i was wonderin, does the ram in my comp, have anythin to do with my system resources? i have 320 ram, it makes my comp faster when opening progs, but still can't open that many progs cuz of the system resources. anyone know how to increase the ram used in my comp, and how to increase my system resources?
    uneek, is a unique way of spelling it.

  2. This is a very common windows problem, many people think that this has completely to do with memory, only part of it does. Even if you ran 1 GIG of RAM you would still from time to time run into this problem,reason, windows is just plain bad at RAM management

    Things you could try are allowing more swap file usage, I have only 64Megs RAM but allow windows to use my entire HD as a swap file. And I use multimedia progs and games all the time as well as web stuff, and normal windows stuff, and I NEVER get that error any more.

    Windows 2000 and XP are better at RAM management, but its still windows so its a hit or miss proposition.

    Sorry I couldnt give you a quick fox type solution but, Its WINDOWS Nothing with windows is quick or easy,EVER.
