As of now, I have two hard disks installed. The first one has Windows and random programs installed, the second is used to store program installers and other random backups. The thing is, I don't want my second hard disk to be effected by programs, such as Norton Systemworks 2005 Premier, or viruses and or spyware. So, is there a way I could lock my second hard disk, but still have access to execute the files that are on it, as long as they are not modified? Thanks alot in advance, I know this is probably coming out wrong, waking up early is bad.

Alright, I believe I have found a solution. Under My Computer, I can disable the drive through it's properties, and enable it again when needed. Just wondering, would enabling and disabling this drive on a daily basis effect the life of the product? Thanks alot for any help.

You may want to take a look at "DriveCrypt" (or many others). Do a google search for "Virtual Disk"

These programs will basically let you create a virtual drive that can easily be mounted and dismounted.
