i purchased a benq dw400a 4x dvd+r burner. i tried to upgrade the firmware but i get a message stating that "this firmare cannot be upgraded". The firmware is identified as B27J, the same one used by the benq 8x dvd+r burner. In the control panel my burner is identified as atapi 8x4x12. Has anyone come across a similar burner ? Does this mean that my burner can burn at 8x ? Is there a way to find out without buying and using 8x media ?
