DV to DVD burning failed

I have Pinacle Studio 9 and have been putting my DV tapes and using capture and editing which has worked BUt when i come to MAKE MOVIE, it says create disc, then rendering comes up which takes ages, then compiling disc- make movie in progress, then after a while it comes up " CD BURNING FAILED DUE TO BURNING STEP". Please help

Well considering you are trying to burn to DVD, I'd be quite perplexed as to why the error message says "CD BURNING"?

Anyway ...

I'm not real familiar with PS9, but there should be a way to encode to your hard drive ie. not burn to disc. Then you could burn its output with Nero, or create an ISO using IMGTools Classic and burn with DVDDecrypter.

I see, i have NERO burning rom se, you know i am a beginner at this, i had a DVD burner fitted and just had 80 m.b. added too so i have enough room now and still have problems, why does rendering take so long ???.

a matter of converting between 2 digital formats (DV and MPEG-2 [dvd]), the number of effects you placed on, the number of filters to enhance the video, etc...
