  1. I have some videos (films) that suffer from shake or bad framing and it would be useful to be able to adjust them left right up or down. By this I mean when the frame shakes up a little bit, I'd like to use a tool to move the frame down some pixels. By comparing the previous frame and next frame, I could reduce the skaing effect.

    I don't know what this process is called or if a product exists that does this sort of thing. Can anyone help

    This is true. The problem in my films was due not to amateur camera work, but the film transfer not being completely consistant. This caused either a shake right-left or up-down.

    But it was a fairly predictable quantity (the film's not going to shake 50% off the screen) so although the above link had excellent information, the suggested 99% maximum correction is rather rediculuous and I found 2% did great for my situation and avoided correcting purposeful cinematography. <-One of my longest run-on sentences
