Hello:
I am having a problem with getting sound out in Adobe Premiere Pro. I have footage from my Sony DV camera that imports and goes on the timeline with both video and sound. But I have MPEG Movie captured by my ATI All-In-Wonder video capture from which I cannot get the sound to tranfer from the monitor window to the timeline.
The video is fine in the timeline and playback, but there is no sound. I had the audio mixer on and it has no signal (NOTHING) in the timeline. But the original plays audio just fine in the clip monotor window, so I am "losing the audio" in the sequence from the monitor window to the timeline.
I have tried the suggestions I found on enabling playback on my audio versus DV hardware, but I have no sound either way. The fact that I cannot see any audio in the audio mixer implies to me that these settings are not the issue.
The source MPEG audio properties are 48000 Hz - 16 bit - Stereo and the "conform" format is 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo.
Any help would be appreciated.
Jess
