I've been encoding my avi files with TMPGEnc and burning onto cd-r's. Some of the content I have consists of two avi files which would take 4
cd-r's to burn onto. Is there any way that I can encode both of those avi files with TMPGEnc then join them and burn it all onto one dvdr in the mpg format that would be playable on a standalone dvd player?

Convert each clip to dvd with tmpgenc, use the wizard and you can set the output size to dvd or use a video bitrate calculator to calculate the video bitrate so it will fit on a dvd.
Then add each mpg clip when you author to a dvd, using for example tmpgenc dvd author.
And PLEASE use a subject that describes your topic. -
What Baldrick said, although I would use this guide.
Just remember that you need to input the total running time of all of the files combined into the bitrate calculator. If in doubt, Google it.
