hi..i have a cyberhome CH-DVD 300, and i bought a dvd movie with region code 2...would it play on it? if not..is there a way to make the movie play on it?

It will play if you use the region hack. Well, it might play . It's supposed to, but that player is rumored to be, well, a piece of junk. At least by many people, I don't have one so I can say from experience that it's so.

I have one that i bought for my daughter a year ago and it still works great with any region or format i have thrown into it, PAL Included... also dvd+r & dvd-r......
Can't be beat for under 40 bucks!!!!!!!!!! hell, it's worked better than some models i have tried that were well over $100.00, have tried some that would have black bands at the top and bottom of the screen, this one plays pal in full screen and looks great!!!!!!

supposedly it does a really nice pal2ntsc conversion and its worth it for that alone
