  1. this is probably a stupid question but would this be the same as merging 2 discs. the problem im trying to fix is that im backingup a video that split the movie between two vts'. it work fine if you watch it the whole way through or when you use the scene select but if i want to skip through the whole thing one by one using the remote it will stop at the last chapter in that vts... then i have to wait for it to continue onto the following chapter in the next vts before i can continue skipping one by one. thanks

This guide can fix your problem.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. if im thinking this through correctly... using this tutorial would render the scene selection useless. i will still try it but im guessing thats going to happen. i still want it to function the same. i have no idea why they would have split the one video between two title sets in the first place. thanks

I'm thinking that you might be right. You could always recreate the scene selection menu by importing the joined titleset into TMPGEnc DVD Author or your favorite authoring software though, because all chapter points will be retained. If you don't want to recreate your own menus, you would need to do some editing on the menu to tell the links that link to titleset 2 to link to titleset 1, and then change the chapter nubmers they link to, so maybe menuedit is what you would need ?

Either that or use your remote to change to title 2 when you get to the last chapter of title 1 ?

Unfortunately I don't think you can have your cake and eat it too though
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Maginashun,
You don't need to merge the two titlesets! You can fix your problem in PgcEdit. 2COOL came up with a way to do that in a slightly different setting, and you should be able to adapt his guide in your case. The idea is to add a dummy PGC at the end of your first VTS title which will act as the "next chapter" in that title, and you make that PGC jump to the first chapter of the second VTS title. It's a bit tricky because you can't jump from VTS to VTS (you have to go through the VMG) but you can do that easily in PgcEdit.

    2COOL's guide is here:

    Have fun!
