    Hello all, I'm looking to burn some dvds on my mac.. I have a choice of the following media. What do you recommend for pioneer burner?

    Vendor, Park number
    Sony, SONDMW47
    Maxell, MAX635041
    Verbatim, VER94984, VER94613
    TDK, TDK48236

    Anyone have any experience with the above?

    TDK - good

    one you dont have..... Ritek - good

    in all actuality, all those are good, but i wouldnt use Maxell, just my preferenec against them is all

    All the ones you mentioned are distributors, not manufacturers (with the possible exception of Sony, not quite sure). The quality of the media from those distributors varies. Some have a tendency to use better manufacturers (like Ritek or Taiyo Yuden) regularly, some change from batch to batch. I just buy Ritek/RiData media, as they are a manufacturer, and the quality is always consistently excellent. I've found Ritek to be most compatible with DVD players and drives. They're only available through online retailers, however.
