  1. hi everybody, I went back with the topics a couple of weeks but didn't find anything, so I ask you.
I can succesfully make vcds with menus using nero (better not talk about quality, this is another matter ... sigh ...), I was wondering if it's possible to add photos to the cd, and if so, how? do they need to be in a specific format (i.e. 704x576?)? do I need to specify pause between them (if I put infinite, how do I go to the next one?)
    thanks everybody

  2. Do you just want to make photo album VCD's or do you want to insert photos between various MPEG movie files?

Either way, all you do is "drag and drop" the jpg files into the burn window in NERO just as you do for MPEG ones. To change the time each photo stays on screen (I think the default is 10 seconds) just "right mouse click" on the file name and set the time in seconds in the dialog box that appears. If it is set to "infinate" then the pic stays on screen until you click "next" on your DVD player remote!

    PICTURES MUST BE JPG's,
as far as size I have used every size imaginable.
There are programs that can do a batch convert of files size and convert say .TIF>.JPG. You can find these at http://www.download.com I would search for "graphics converter"

I would tell you the name of the one I use but I can't.
OK so in Nero go FILE>NEW>VCD (Not SVCD).
    Then drag and drop Jpegs.
    Thats it pretty simple stuff.
