Hi!
What's the easiest way to convert a DVD back to MPEG2?
Please note that I want to convert it to MPEG2 with identical bitrate just like it was in DVD format. With other words, tools like EasyVCD (with ability of extraction DVD>SVCD but with preset, and considerably lower bitrate) is useless in my case.
Thanks in advance!

you don't have to convert at all,

you simply demultiplex the content of (I'm assuming) the main movie with some tool like tmpecenc (under mpeg tools), womble, (I believe) cuttermaran etc.
To rip the main movie use decrypter in IFO mode and select the longest pgc (which should reasonably be what you're after).Sorry, I had to go see about a girl
