  1. In gordian Knot we have to demux our soundfiles that were extracted from the dvd, what do they mean with demux.

    extract the audio from video streams with a demuxer --

    tmpgenc works good for this - as do a number of other apps....
    opposite of multiplexing.

  3. sorry for the double post, just saw, was a refreshing error on my side

    ok for the demuxing, i got it now.

    But once we have muxed again the video and the different audiostreams, can we give a name to that audiostream, like the language french or english.

    Could be great if we could do it, so in my media player I can choose english or french in stead of audio 1 or audio 2. Audio 1 or 2 doesn't say much what language it is.

    I'm using the gordian knot utility set to rip and encode.
