i just boughtv a dvd writer (philips 4.0) and also tony hawk underground2i installed everything and then i get this message when i want to play the game (your hardware settings are too low ,please set your hardware acceleration to full in order to continue) and where can i change this ,it also weird it doesnt work on my laptop ,i didn't dl it ,i bought it .i hopr it was in the right section ,if not sorry ,thx

sounds like your graphics are set too low. Might want to start there. Many of these newer games require high video settings.

Some information would be useful, like your computer specifications for a start. Hard to tell what the problem is with little to go on.

Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot
From there, it depends on what video card you are using. You should see a slider for acceleration. I suspicion it is set on max already. You might have to lower resolution or number of colors to make the game work if you have a slow card. Refer to your computer or video card manual. -

Hmmm.. did you create a DVD virtual drive via Nero or another application?
