Hello,
The recordings on a DVD-R with my desktop DVD recorder (Pioneer DVR-220) can be edited OK on my PC, but when I record on a DVD-RW they play OK on the PC and other players, but when I try to edit them on the PC the sound is severely out of synch, up to several seconds.
Can there be any format difference that is supported by players but can not be dealt with by editors (I tried 3 with the same results)?
Thanks,
Guifre

Additional info: I de-multiplexed audio and video in the audio-out-of-synch files and re-multiplexed them again: the audio came in synch and I can edit!
Can someone offer an explanation? What are these formats that are accepted by players but not digested by editors?
Thanks!
Guifre
