power calibration error normally means your burner doesn't like your media.
    If in doubt, Google it.

im using Datawrite dvdr's the red ones are they meant to be any good?? i got this brand because i have seen alot of people use these disks however they were the yellow and orange coloured ones i brought red becuase they were the only colour i could find at that time do u think the colour of the disk could make a difference?? i read on another site that when this error stops poppin up it could even mean the dvd writer is dyin but i dont think this is the case becuase i have successfully burnt many normal audio cds but they were on audioplanet disks...

Every once in awhile I also get the "power calibration error".I turn off the computer, wait a bit, then turn it back on.Restarting didn't work.I had to actually turn off the computer. That worked for me.

Btw, I am using Nero 6.3.1.25

  9. Thanks for reporting back, it's useful information for everyone here. Also, people like to know if their advice helped someone or was wasted effort. Good for you, far too many novices lack the courtesy to do likewise.
