    anyone know how to record your voice from the computer and convert it to an mp3 file so that i can burn it as audio?

    Get a microphone, plug it into your soundcard's line in jack, record what you want, and then run the audio through an MP3 encoder.

    like what is a good mp3 encodeer? and what do i use to record? - Windows Sound Recorder?

    Get a mic.
    Record your stuff using windows sound recorder (cheap POS)
    then encode it with MusicMatch
    or use the NERO Encoder and encoded to
    WMA or Mp3 (WMA Sucks).
