Hi there,
when encoding 2 movies into 1 with DVD RB the output usually ends up at 4.38 or 4.39GB, which is too big for DVD authoring program.
I use:
CCE 2.50 (with eclcce)
One pass vbr w/ analysis (This may somehow be the cause, I think)
Dynamically assign cell bitrates
VBR_bias=10
Quality_prec=24
eclPasses=2
The movies I encode are reauthored by DVD Shrink 3.2 without any compression and all audio bar primary 5.1ch AC3 audio stream removed. Start and end credits are trimmed off also.
Any ideas how I might get it to produce an output size of 4.2GB??

FIrst: One Pass VBR has a lot to do. Use just normal 2 pass VBR
By default RB output is 2236000 sectors (1 sector= 2048 bytes) which result in around 2.35 GB.
You can change this default by putting a CCETargetSectors=xxxxxxx setting in the Options area of the Rebuilder.ini file, where xxxxxxx are the number of sectors you want your output to be.
More details in the Rebuilder forum at doom9.org . At the Settings thread at the top of the forum, look for the Hidden settingsNewbie to DVD backup
