Hi!
I'm wondering if a DVD that was authored on some strange, non standard way, can behave strangely during playback in certain DVD-players that are not fully compatible with that very same authoring program that was used?
I have a DVD bootleg that plays fine in my DVD-burner, and most of the stand alone players while it won't play properly on Yamaha S550 and Philips 720SA (both players have same chip).
On these two the playback motion slows down and then it speeds up (to catch up with the sound) and this occurs always on same points. I've made a copy on both DVD-R and DVD+R discs, both SONY and Verbatim. Always the same!
Further information about this issue you can read on this thread:

Thanks in advance!
