I'm looking for a video card that will have a DVI-D output to my 16X9 HDTV. Are there such a video card like that? Or, if anyone knows of any adapter that will adapt a regular DVI-I to DVI-D. I want to use my 16X9 HDTV for my computer monitor.

    Thanks!

    ljcharlie,

Depending on what your video card needs are for grafics , ATI has a slew of cards with DVI output. And for some that don't, they carry a simple adapter. Even my 4yr old ATI AIW Radeon 32ddr has DVI output.

An number of them can be had for under US$100 on ebay.
    Have a good one,

Thanks for the response. Most video cards, if not all, have DVI-I out and not DVI-D out which HDTV accepts. Yes, there are adapters for DVI-I to component but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking a video card capable of out puting to DVI-D or an adapter from DVI-I to DVI-D.

  5. I don't know if all the MX440 chipsets do but a Geforce4 MX 440 made by XFX (division of PINE) outputs the DVI as DVI-D and works fine on HDTVs.
The DVI out is an option on those cards so make certain it has the dvi out before U buy.
