    I am planning on buying a pioneer dv-444 dvd player within the next couple of days, and now i was wondering about the following.

    Should I buy a region code free version, or is the region code simply changeble with the remote, just like with the pioneer dv-343?

    anybody have any experience with region codes and the pioneer dv-444.

    The 444 has to be hardware-modified in order to be region free.
