  1. I recently captured a video from my digital camcorder. Its an MPEG 2 file. I am tring to split it using tmpgenc but the resulting split file has no audio. I tried demultiplexing and the multiplexing the original file and then tried again but no use. can anyone give any suggestions.

    Thanks in advance.

TMPGEnc doesn't like mpegs from other programs, try a different program to edit your file. Womble products are good for mpeg.
