Hi can anybody advise me what to do. When I am running DVD Shrink the CPU usage becomes 100%. My computer is Pentium IV 3.00 with 1Gig Ram. Or is it normal. Thanks for any advise

Hello,
Are you doing anything else while shrinking??? Close all open programs and see if it still does it.
Are you running a home network??? Maybe you could try shutting down the network. That would probably also use up resources.
One last thing would be to reinstall dvdshrink. Good luck.

Me to it runs at 100 %. It's like when you're encoding (except it's faster).

Thanks for the quick reply. When I am encoding I am not using the computer at all, but connected to the home network of three computers and no other computer is accessing this one. Task manager shows that the DVD Shrink is using around 100% of CPU

Hi all.
As Baldrick already stated, this is normal.
DVD Shrink will use as much CPU as is available.
If you want to multi-task while analysing/processing, simply switch DVD Shrink to "Low priority".
"Edit >> Preferences". -
I'd be disappointed if it weren't...

Thank you all for the replies and now I am satisfied. I was bit worried that it may be some problem with my settings or else. Thanks again
