I've been using trial version of TDA, which has worked fine and solved most of my issues - but I had one observation - yesterday I authored something and got to the "output" phase, which seemed to work fine (it takes about 2 hours for about 3.5GB of material) - out of curiosity, I pulled up my task mgr and saw that the program was, for the most part, running at 100% CPU usage. It didn't seem to have any problems (although it did crash at the very end) - but I'm wondering - is that typical for a program like this? I have 1GB Ram and a 3.5GHz processor.

As always, thanks for any help/advice.

I guess, second question - my VOB files did output but my BUP and IFO did not - is there any way to create those files at this point or do I pretty much have to re-do the project and re-output?

sorry - forgot to note that - it was partially made up of AVI. Previously, I had converted the AVI to mpg-4 and everything worked fine - I didn't notice the CPU usage the first time I tried, but I am assuming the fact that I left as AVI could have something to do with it.

It might be typical, but as I don't use TDA, I can't say for sure. CCE will typically use close to 100% of your CPU on any system where you run it, regardless of your CPU speed and memory, so yes, it is possible that TDA just works that way.

Redo your project. If you had just BUPs or just IFOs, you could copy one to the other, but without both (how did that happen? Just a rhetorical question.), you need to redo it.
