    Hello,

I'm always hitting the snooze button in the morning (just once though!). Though I have the alarm set an extra 10 minutes early so I won't be late if I really can't get up.

I think it's a nice feature even though most of us probably hate alarms as much as we hate cellphones. There great utilities but we hate what they remind us of ----- WORK!

I do, I know 10 mins extra doesn't really do anything but when its time to wake up 10min sure seems like the world.

Not to thread jack, but does anyone else get pissed off if you wake up before the alarm goes off? I know when my wife has to leave early she will set the alarm for me, for 6:00am...if I wake up at 5:59 I'm pissed.

    Hello,

Yeah I hate it when I wake up 20 or 30 minutes before my alarm. THAT'S why I have the snooze button!!! I leave myself another ten minutes to ease myself to alertness.

  7. I'm a shocker when it comes to using the snooze alarm because I'm such a heavy sleeper.

To wake me up in the morning I have my CD player set at a high level which starts playing at say 8:00. I also have my mobile phone used as an alarm and it goes off at 8:05, 8:10 and 8:15. I then have the in built schedule set off reminders every 5 minutes after that. Even then I still sleep through it sometimes.

Luckily I have a lifestyle where I don't really have to be up early or if I do its not critical stuff so if I oversleep I don't stress out.

    Ahhh, to be young again

My "Little Bo Peep" alarm starts bleating at 4:30am. I usually let it just run because while I'm getting dressed it gets me in the mood for the day ahead. "Baa-aaaa-aaaaahhh .......baa-aaaa-aaaaahhh" Very nice

  10. It's really bad around exam and assignment times.

I remember my first year of university I stayed upto 5am doing this assignment which was due that day at 12pm. Had all the alarms set and still overslept, ended up waking up at 12pm. Quickly slipped on some pants and jumped in the car. Doing 160km/ph down the freeway, ended up getting there in record time and convinced my tutor to accept the late assignment because I had "car troubles".

Does yours pin you to the bed if you're laying on your back too? I hate it when that happens. Takes 5 minutes of thinking about Rosie O'Donnell before I can get out of the bed I got around that, and got a more effective alarm than the sheep bleating by putting the ceiling fan on a timer .....

Worst thing ever invented When I was younger I had to put my alarm clock across the room out of reach to make myself get out of bed. I could hit the snooze button all day if I used it.

actually in school I had a loft and I would place the alarm on the bottom so I would have to go down to turn it off , I must say I was nicely awake and pissed at the same time

    DITTO!

I woke up 90 minutes before my alarm went off today and I was pissed! I fell back asleep about 10 minutes before it went off

WHat I hate is when I got to hit snooze and accidently hit off instead. When this happens I usually get a wake up call from my boss

  26. I use my cellphone alarm instead of my alarm clock. Although it has a snooze feature, I don't use it. I like the cell phone alarm because it beeps quietly, then increases volume steadily.

  27. I am pretty bad for hitting snooze on my alarm. I have an alarm clock which produces an obnoxious buzzing noise and my Nokia which produces Dead Prez every morning. It even fades the music in gradually to wake me.

What really gets me up is the fact that I have a kettle in my room, and a ready supply of real coffee. A cup of black coffee really gives me some get up and go! It's just a case of leaving my nice, warm bed and braving the cold cross to the kettle... I have to be up at 0730 nearly every morning for my lectures so coffee plays a big part!

I miss snooze. I use my cell phone now and it doesn't have a snooze. How crappy is that?
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

Yeah ever since the ceiling fan circumcision incident , I've been sleeping on my stomach. Must say I like the repeated paddling of the fan blades on my bare ass in the mornings much better !!
