I think i made a mistake splitting a MPEG.
i have a NTSC Video CD Movie and i splitted in with TMPGEnc.
But i think i forgot to change the "Type:", i think i left it as MPEG-1 System (automatic) instead of MPEG-1 Video-CD.
It plays fine on my computer but will it not be compatable with my DVD player now? I checked it Virutal Dub and it still had all the NTSC settings (352x240 29,97fps), but since i forgot to change the Type in TMPGEnc will it not work in my DVD player?
Thanx in advance.

im sorry to tell you that it cant i made the same mistake and it wouldnt play..i was sooo pissed off.....wwhy dont you just cut the original mpeg again

If you don't have the original anymore, don't worry. Just demultiplex and remultiplex using the correct Type.
MPEG "cutting" is nothing else than demultiplex/ multiplex. -
Is there a program that can check whether it's a proper NTSC MPEG or not? Because I think I might have made the mistake on more than 1 file.

try loding it to Nero and when it loaded right click on the mpg and see its properties and it should say if it complaint the frame rate and if its PAL or NTSC ..hope that hleps
