After a layoff I am back to capturing VHS tapes to convert to DVD.
No real problem capturing 20 to 25 minute tapes to the hard drive as Uncompressed AVI. Using TMPGEnc 2.5 to encode as MPG. I am having trouble using Virtual Dub to frame serve to TMPGENc.
I Deleted Virtual Dub 1.4 and installed 1.6 , perhaps I need to go back to 1.5.10 (Stable Version). Installed AVIframeclient support via auxsetup.exe, then used the proxyon.reg to enable the proxy support.
I can use TMPGEnc to create the mpg file from the avi without using the frameserver. (not sure about out of sync audio yet) If I use the frameserver I get moasic type image. Not sure what is buggered up so I am posting while I try to work through this issue.
I use to know how to attach an image also.
