I'm going to order an ATI AIW card tonight. It looks like the 9600 is in my price range but I need to know which you guys would recommend among the XT, PRO, and base models. I know the XT and PRO should be faster but will that help at all with video capturing? I have a 9600 PRO now, non-AIW which runs great. How much better is the XT? As of now I am leaning towards the XT model.

The major differences between the XT, Pro, and standard are the 3d chip. All are based upon the 9600, standard being the slowest, pro is faster, and xt is the fastest. This is for 3d functions only. Video capture performance is the same for all of them. However, if I recall correctly, there are some different features such as radio, remote, etc. You may wish to research that further, but I don't think you can go wrong with the XT.
