Is there a source for downloading extra templates or a For-Dummies esque guide to making one? I need a template that offers 6 per page arrainged in hexagon formation.

The templates are stored in UFO format which is a propietary ulead format. The can be edited using Photoimpact, Ulead's image editing app. They have a 30 day unrestricted trial, download it and make a gazillion of them

    From the Ulead site:
If you've purchased DVD MovieFactory 3 or DVD MovieFactory 3 Disc Creator as an electronic download file (full or upgrade), please download the additional components.
It doesn't look like the extra templates work with the trial version, only with the purchased version.

DVD Workshop (DWS) also use the UFO format and DWS can edit the menu template file although it is not as flexible as editing in Photoimpact (I believe, I don't have Photoimpact). Have anyone tried editing the menu template in DWS and put it back to Movie Factory?

If that is possible , download DWS trial version, get the extra menu template and edit if necessary.

There is a way to import Ulead DVD Workshop 2 menu templates into Ulead DVD Movie Factory, by using the method I describe here (but going from DWS to MF, of course), but I'm sure that would only give you the original unedited and uneditable DWS template. If you really need to edit a template, try doing it in Ulead PhotoImpact.

I do not mean edit the DWS template directly. I mean base on the DWS template, create your own template and save the new template into the library. Copy the UFO file to the My Favorite folder of DMF. I just tried it and it works.

  10. Does anyone know the difference between Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3 Disc Creator & Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3.5 Suite.

I know there is also a standard version (Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3) which Ulead's websibe compares with Disc Creator but there is no comparision I can find with the 3.5 Suite version.

    Thanks in advance
