I found that Nero produced SVCD's / VCD's won't fast forward or rewind on my philips DVD711. After making 8 coasters, I gave up trying and used VCD easy. (Guess what? ) - they now work, but I havn't figured out how to make menus with it yet. The program is brilliant & Free. Also when creating the MPEG files using TMPGEnc you need to make sure that the Output Bitstream for Edit is set to be closed. I don't know what it all means yet, but it worked for me. All the answers appear somewhere on this web site, you just need to spend a little time reading through it all.

  4. VCDEasy can't make menus at the moment, only chapters, according to the information, some of the next releases will contains the ability to create menus, for now you can use TSCV to create both Chapters and Menus.
