    Hi everyone,

I'm new here and just wondered if any of you experts can give me some advice!

I'm trying to create a vacation DVD for my sister who owns the above DVD player. The problem I am having at the moment is trying to find out what DVD formats it will play. My DVD burner will burn all formats but does anybody on this forum know if it will accept DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW?

Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

  2. Look to the left.
Click on DVD Players and search for your model.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the speedy reply.

I did try that but the advice was a little conflicting.....maybe if anyone on this forum owns the DVD player themselves, maybe they would know.

    Thanks again

  4. The comments are posted by forum members. It's assumed that they own the model. Who would bother to post comments for DVD players they don't own?

  5. Yeah. The player listing is confusing because many people don't fill it out the form completely.

If you can't get a solid answer, I'd try DVD-R first. In my experience in trading, DVD-R seems to be slightly more compatible with most people's DVD players. If that does not work, it'll only take a few more minutes to burn a DVD+R anyway.

    Thanks RowMan,

I will try a DVD-R first and see how it goes.

jyn999:- I was simply trying to get some advice before I burn the disc as my sister lives the other side of the world and I don't want to keep wasting disc's. If those are the only sort of replies you can come back with then why bother being on this forum. The answers I expect to receive are from those like Row Man who genuinly want to help.
