I'm having trouble fastforwarding & rewinded my XVCD's. I'm using a Toshiba SD-2200 for playback. If I added scandata.dat to my file in Nero, would that work?

What sort of trouble are you having? I have a Toshiba 3750 and if I fast forward it gets in this wierd mode where it keeps fast-forwarding (though not as fast as the normal fast-forward) even after I hit play. If I hit slow, it plays at the normal speed but without audio. About once in every thirty times I hit play and it'll go back to play. It doesn't do this with compliant VCDs, but they don't look as good.
Anyway its my understanding that scandata.dat is just for SVCDs. I tried the drag-and-drop thing with an XVCD, and it didn't make any difference. It created its own (~18K) scandata.dat. -
Yes, my player does the same thing as yours. If you press fast forward, then go back to play, it is still fast forwarding, only slower than normal, and the audio is either out of sync or there isn't any. I suppose it is just the Toshiba brand of player, because nobody else seems to know what we're talking about. Thanks for telling me you tried the adding scandata.dat to the XVCD, now I don't have to waste time, frustration, and a CD-R.
Thanks again,
Mark
