    AviDemux doesn't support DAT output. VCD Cutter can't run in both XP and Vista. Any suggestion?

    Why do you need it as dat? If you choose mpg it wont be reconverted.

    And I guess you have tried run vcdcutter in different compatilibity mode?

    I just feel better that I haven't "touch" the original file... about compatibility mode, I don't know if it works, but thanks for the suggestion!
