  1. I´m reencoding a 1.3Gb m2v file into an m2v file with about half that size to include in a DVD compilation I´m workin on using TMPGEnc Plus.

Other m2v files from the same source that I reencoded using the same settings work fine but this one comes out very jittery (everything that moves flashes).

This happens in my progressive PC monitor and in my interlaced TV, so the interlace/progressive thing is not an issue here I think.

Besides that what other settings could be causing this? (btw motion estimate search)

Don't know whether this helps but I have found that whenever I got the "motion flashes", I have my field order wrong.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. Sorry about the delay.

Actually the problem was related with filed orderbut to solve it I had to go to the deinterlace filter in TMPGEnc and tweak a bit until the result was perfect.

Hope someone can benefit from this in the future.
