  1. I have an avi movie of 1h55minutes. I setup the Tmpgenc Plus tool and let it run for the whole day. At night, when I checked it, the tool stopped (no more instance of the tool running) and my m2v file stopped conversion around 55th min of the movie. The m2v file size is ~2.45G.

I have win2K and around 20G free harddisk and NTFS file system (personally I don't think that would be an issue). Do you know any clue why tmpGenc plus crashed? Is there a place I can check its log?

    Please help....

  2. Use VirtualDub to scan the .AVI file for bad frames. I think these can sometimes crash TMPGEnc.

Did TMPGEnc give you any errors?

  3. Avi is corrupt. Use DivFix to fix it. If bad frame is severed you have to cut it out
