I have an avi movie of 1h55minutes. I setup the Tmpgenc Plus tool and let it run for the whole day. At night, when I checked it, the tool stopped (no more instance of the tool running) and my m2v file stopped conversion around 55th min of the movie. The m2v file size is ~2.45G.
I have win2K and around 20G free harddisk and NTFS file system (personally I don't think that would be an issue). Do you know any clue why tmpGenc plus crashed? Is there a place I can check its log?
Please help....

Use VirtualDub to scan the .AVI file for bad frames. I think these can sometimes crash TMPGEnc.
Did TMPGEnc give you any errors?
