    Hi all.

I've got 2 questions, probebly codec realated.

I've made a dvd on my comuter.
everything was fine until when I couldn't watch the VOB file (when I double click it) on players such as PowerDVD and Media player.
    The audio is just fine.
Is it a codec problem ?

another one - when I I'm trying to watch a specific movie in DIVX format, the player makes an error and won't show it. In other computers with the same codec installed, the movie plays well. other files play in my computer with only audio and not video whereas in the other computer everything is smooth.
    Anyone got something ?

    Thanks,
    Amir.

What are the exact errors you get ? (for both questions)
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Which is it ?

    no errors or errors ?

No-one can or will help you unless you provide some meaningful information.

Have you tried manually opening the DVD files in PowerDVD ?

If your player makes an error with the DIVX file, what does the error say ?

    A little help
    If in doubt, Google it.

Use GSpot to find what codecs an AVI uses. Download and install latest versions of those required. (Don't install any codec packs - they just ruin stuff instead of helps.)
VOBs aren't meant to be played (even if some software do) - they are parts of a DVD Video. Media Player Classic or PowerDVD usually do...
