  1. I have a .bin file and I'm trying to extract it to .mpeg or .mpg, as long as I can watch it. But the problem is that the file is MPEG2 and when I "Extract but FILTER only M2F2 Mpeg frames" I can't get the video to play. When it asks what filename I want to put it under, I type in "AVSEQ01.mpeg". Then it goes through the extraction, and when I play the video, it doesnt work. But when I extract MPEGAV, it works fine.

What am I doing wrong for the MPEG2 extraction?

What are you trying to watch the mpg with? If you don't have a mpeg2codec installed on your system you probably won't be able to watch it. Try downloading mediaplayer classic as it has a built in mpeg2 codec.

    Good luck!

I was trying to watch it with the most current edition of WMP, does that not support MPEG2?

WMP supports MPEG-2 but Windows doesn't come with it. You have to install a MPEG-2 codec to view them. PowerDVD installs it or you can find one in the 'Tools' section to the left under 'Codecs'.
