I paid for and installed ISObuster for a project I was working on. The product worked great but now I am finding that I can not get rid of the ISObuster toolbar. Even if I uninstall the app the tool bar will not go away. I have uncheck it under IE and lock the toolbar, it will pop back in a day or two. I even did a system restore from before the install.

did you delete the folder that isobuster installs itself in? there may be left over parts after the uninstall. like tbisob.dll for the toolbar.

Sorry to hear the toolbar annoys you.

It is a means to make some extra cash in hard times like today.
People who search and click sponsored links basically contribute a few cents (or less) per search.

Uninstalling it works like uninstalling any software on a Windows system.

First close all internet browser windows.

PS. there are two versions of the toolbar out there.

In case of the "IsoBuster toolbar" this will answer your question:
    http://isobuster.ourtoolbar.com/help/#4_1

If there is no "IsoBuster toolbar" in the list of installed software present, look for the "Ask toolbar" in the list and uninstall that.
    Or see: http://dl.ask.com/toolbar/faq.html#na3

I hope this helps, and again sorry the toolbar annoyed you !

I'm getting rid of it in favour of the Conduit one again.

To be honoust I really like the Conduit toolbar.
I use it myself all the time for silly things, to listen to the radio when I'm travelling and to check the weather forecast
