    Is it possible to get clips out of a DVD to use in making a compilation DVD (for example, great comedy scenes from various movies)...for personal use only? I have FCP4 and DVD Studio Pro 2. Thanks for the help.

    Decrypt the DVD with MTR and then use DVDxDV to extract the scenes you want. Then import them into FCP.

    You can also use Cinematize to do this, or a combination of around 4 or 5 freeware tools one after the other.
