  2. It's cold and it rains a lot. If you're lucky, you'll get some cold but crisp weather.

    Hello,

Ha! Sounds like the summer we had here in Michigan! Only hit 90's twice! The last month or so we finally had mid 80's for a good stretch. What a bleak summer weather wise. Ugh.

Thanks, thats kinda what I figure but wanted to make sure I wasn't under some misconception. The trip seems affordable as long as I get my tickets far enough in advance. I'll know more close to the end of the year though soon as my money situation becomes more clear.

See, that don't make sense to me, Flaystus you live in Texas, sunny, nice food(loads of chillies )
and you want to come to this country in the middle of Winter when it must be said is ******* shit from a point of view from someone who works outside. - couldn't you come over say middle of August when if your lucky you might have a clear sky and some smiley people.

Just wouldn't want your impression of British people being a bunch of miserable beggars

  6. When you live in scorching texas, why would you want to holiday somewhere hot. Whats different about that.

Personally I hate it too hot and would much prefer to be too cold than too hot. The sun is overrated and it gives you skin cancer

We dont get it too hot over here but the short bit of summer we do get I find it difficult to sleep at night its so stuffy.

  9. Actually yes, 90 is only about 32 centigrade isn't it. I dont use farenheight. I can just remember the summer of '76 over here, that was a scorcher well into the 30's for a sustained period. We do get those sort of temperatures over here on occasion.

I hate the heat, its one of the major drawbacks to where I live. I can always put more cloths on, but if I take to much off I'll get arrested.

As far as my trips timing. IF it happens it will only be for 2 maybe 3 days and there is a very specific reason I'm coming. I uh... really want to see this uhm.... band.

As far as late in the year, I'm going to Vegas hopefully later in the year.

Vancouver and Seattle is like that at that time too. Rains all the time and so cold.

I reckon in London, UK as the best time to visit is summer. The same for the places above, the summer as the best time to see.
