burning problem

Hi i winder if you can help me.

I downloaded a film i believe it is avi, When i run it through avi codec. its says the video codec is svcd/dvd and the audio codec is mpeg-1

i then ran the file through TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress and conceted it into mpeg2 and set the size of the file to 3.7gb and the file converted and can watch it through ok on my pc.

i then tried burning the converted file to DVD using ulead dvd movie factory 2. it created the vob files and data structure and began to burn to the disc. about 3-5% the disc ejected and up popped a message saying the following.

"Failed to recor the data to the disc.
ERROR: DVDR-INC-SPTI-2A-02-06-09-00
(93006:1:0)

Anyone know what this is and how to combat it as ive just wasted a disc well about 4 now lol

Hello,

Well first thing would be to try a rewritable disc that you could erase. Also look for a firmware update for your dvd drive. You could also tell Ulead to make the folder only and burn the video_ts folder with another program to see if that helps.
