    Since I installed Premiere Pro, I have not been able to convert my edited . avi files with TMPGEnc. When I load the .avi file in TMPGEnc, I get a black window.

    Any idea how to fix this?

  2. A guess would be colorspace.

    TMPGEnc only supports RBG. What colorspace is the exported Premiere video?

    I am working in PAL or NTSC. No changes to the RGB settings.

  4. One thing that might help you;

    I've been using AviSynth with TMPGEnc lately (Convolution3D) and the script that supposed to work as ConvertToRGB only seems to work as ConvertToRGB24.

    I just reloaded Windows 2000 on this machine, and i never noticed it before, but all i see is a black preview window in TMPGEng, until i change to RGB24.

    Does TMPGEnc interpret RGB color depth through AVI file reader or DirectShow reader?

    No luck. Could not change the colorspace settings as it default to dv format. It was working fine with Premiere 6.5.

    Anybody else has the same issue or does everybody use the embedded Mainconcept Encoder?

    In TMPGEnc Environmental settings, in the VFAPI Plug-in Tab, set all the priority to 0 and set the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader priority to 1.

    Thanks for those who tried to help.
