Gspot is telling you why - you don't have an Xvid codec.

Excuse if I am stupid but if I don't have a codec that displays this then why does it open up in Windows Media Player and play the video fine....

    Regards

Do you have ffdshow installed? That *might* be why - WMP may be using ffdshow, but Gspot can't see it?

I forget what I've done to get TMPGEnc to use ffdshow to handle Xvid files (and I don't have it on the work computer) - maybe someone with a better memory will chime in.
