A better idea would be to use either a TBC or a camcorder with pass through to capture the video signal, then either record the new signal.

Exactly what do we mean you say "skip"? are there glitches, cuts to another scene, what makes the audio synch go out?

usually when theres cuts to another scene the audio goes bad synch, theres only good video/audio synch when a scene is entirely filmed, like a full 45 minutes of a soccer game, with no PAUSE from 0:00:00 to 0:45:00. understand?

Yes, I think I do. The problem sounds like your player to me. Does this happen on other players or just this one?

Panasonic NV-FJ635 PAL-M/NTSC brand new, very little use, some tapes are great to rip, with no audio synch, and some tapes are bitch to rip with very bad audio sync, i cant capture more than 3 minutes, with these bad tapes.... do you think using another VCR to pass through this sign would do the trick?

I think your may be the problem. Until you borrow another player to play the questionable tapes and see what happens, it's hard to say. I never saw an audio synch problem with a good VCR, just with broken ones.

Well, I normally capture in DV, so I use DVIO (freeware), or Video Studio 7 (trial ware).
    Hello.
